Luxury Bathrooms; At Sea
by Fitzroy of London
There are some amazing bathroom designs; both in the residential and hospitality sectors. From homes to hotels, restaurants to retail outlets, from jaw-dropping views to the finest marble and copper bathtubs to incredible interior design.
Fitzroy of London have decided to investigate luxury bathrooms… at sea. Is the same, high level of luxury applied on yachts and cruise ships?
Here are just some of the best examples:
Owned by Lord Irvine Laidlaw – winner of the Legacy Award during the World Super Yacht Awards in 2015, the Lady Christine has one of the best superyacht bathrooms. The beautifully designed bathroom even features a marble surrounded shower stall.
The bathroom in the Baglietto 46 metre superyacht, is styled to an ‘ultra-chic’ standard that may give you double vision. With double everything – it is an ideal en-suite for two. The clean, minimalist design makes it one of the best superyacht bathrooms.
The exquisite use of wood on Dunia Baru, a traditional Phinisi style charter yacht operating in Indonesia, makes this one of the best superyacht bathrooms. It’s describes as an oasis stepping into a natural wood decorated retreat.
Previously named Como, the Lady May has one of the best superyacht bathrooms around. What makes this bathroom so clever is how it stretches across the beam of the yacht – a rarity on a guest bathroom.
The CRN superyacht Saramour, launched in 2014, has one of the best superyacht bathrooms due to its very impressive shower. Placed in the centre of the room, the shower is entirely enclosed by glass, and the door cleverly pivots open to give access.
Mogambo is a custom-made yacht, available for charter and features a luxury bathroom which boasts a spacious shower and bath, featuring black, white and gold.
Motor Yacht A
