Project Charlotte - London (In Development)
We were appointed to propose a design for the DDA rooms for a luxury hotel. The overall design brief required a softer, contemporary feel with the use of and marble’s and brass tones. It was important that the room could be fully flexible between a standard bedroom and disabled bedroom, therefore, enabling the client to secure the greatest ROI through increased occupancy rates. The concepts portray the room with the disabled accessories removed and ‘disguised’ – the room can be transformed into a fully DDA compliant room.
It was important to ensure that the DDA rooms were fully consistent with the brand standards of the hotel development. This required detailed research into finishes and designs so that these rooms remained consistent overall.
